Citizens Month.

The Mayor will issue a proclamation declaring May 9 through May15, 2004 to be
Police Week and May 15, 2004 to be Police Memorial Day.
c. Petition
for liquor by the drink (restaurants only) election:
The City Secretary will present a report on a petition for liquor by the drink
(restaurant only) election that was formally submitted on April 26, 2004.
d. Akins Drive Improvement Project: The City Manager will present a report on the Akins Drive Improvement Project.

5. Minutes: The City Council will consider the minutes of the April 20, 2004 regular meeting.
6. Resolution opposing specific school finance or tax system reforms: The City Council will consider a resolution opposing any school finance or tax system reforms that would negatively affect city revenues and economic development efforts
7. City facility construction: The City Council will consider matters related to city hall construction and library expansion.
8. Ordinance rezoning property in Briar Bluff Unit 2: The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance that rezones lots 2 and 3, Briar Bluff Unit 2 from āPā Professional Office District to āR-8ā Single Family Residential District.
9. Ordinance amending annual budget: The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance that amends the 2003-2004 annual budget.
