B.    General action items, resolutions and ordinances

5.    Minutes:  The City Council will consider the minutes of the January 20, 2004 regular workshop and meeting.

 

6.    Resolution authorizing general election:  The City Council will consider a resolution authorizing a May 15, 2004 general election (a mayor and 2 council members will be elected to 2 year terms).

 

7.    Concession agreement: The City Council will consider a concession agreement with Playa Blanca for operation of the Indian Point Pier.

 

8.    Engagement of personnel consultant:   The City Council will consider the engagement of the Waters Consulting Group for a compensation study.

9.    Ordinance increasing water service rates:  The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance that increases the rates for water service.

10.   Executive session: The City Council will conduct an executive session according to Section §551.087 (deliberation regarding economic development negotiations) of the Government Code.

 (Action may be taken in public by the city council at the conclusion of the executive session.)
