5.    Minutes:  The City Council will consider the minutes of the January 6, 2004 regular workshop and meeting.

 

6.    Engagement of Coym, Rehmet & Gutierrez Engineering:  The City Council will consider the engagement of Coym, Rehmet & Gutierrez for work associated with the following projects:

a.           Extraterritorial jurisdiction water system improvement project – preparation of USDA (rural development) grant application

b.           Sanitary Sewer Improvement Program (Phase 2) – contract 1 design and project advance

7.    Engagement of LNV Engineering:  The City Council will consider the engagement of LNV engineering for work associated with the following projects:

a.           2004 Street Maintenance Program – design, negotiation and direction.

b.      Violet Andrews Park improvement project – design, bidding and direction.

8.    Change order: The City Council will consider a change order in the amount of $274,00.00 to the Street Improvement Program (Phase 5) for overlays and sealcoats.

9.    Engagement of personnel consultant:  The City Council will consider the engagement of the Waters Consulting Group for a compensation and performance management study.

10.   Ordinance increasing water service rates:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that increases the rates for water service.

11.    Ordinance creating Violet Andrews Park:  The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance that creates Violet Andrews Park.

12.    Executive session:  The City Council will conduct an executive session according to Section §551.087 (deliberation regarding economic development negotiations) of the Government Code.
