5.    Minutes:  The City Council will consider the minutes of the July 1, 2003 regular meeting and July 2, 2003 special workshop.

 

6.    Resolution supporting port annexation:  The City Council will consider a resolution supporting port of Corpus Christi navigation district annexation of San Patricio County and San Patricio County representation on the Port Commission.

 

7.    Resolution ending moratorium:  The City Council will consider a resolution ending the moratorium on water connections to residents outside the city limits following the presentation of a report by a consulting city engineer (Victor Gutierrez of Coyn, Rehmet & Gutierrez).

 

8.    Request for water service:  The City Council will consider a request for water service from the port of Corpus Christi that supports development of the La Quinta Gateway project.

 

9.    Construction delivery method:  The City Council will consider using the construction manager at risk method to construct a new city hall and expand the library.

10.  Ordinance increasing construction permit fees:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that increases construction permit fees.

11.  Renewal of Indian Point Pier concession agreement:  The City Council will consider a six-month renewal of the Indian Point Pier concession agreement with Playa Blanca.

 

12.  Ordinance increasing administrative/billing fees:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that increases the administrative billing fees for residential and commercial solid waste services.

13.   Ordinance amending animal control regulations: The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that amends animal control regulations.

14.   Ordinance requiring contractor registrationThe City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that requires contractor registration.

15.   Ordinance increasing construction permit fees:  The City council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that increases construction permit fees.

 

16.   Ordinance amending grass and weed height regulations:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that amends grass and weed height regulations.

 

17.    Ordinance increasing sanitary sewer service rate:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance increasing the sanitary sewer service rate.

 

18.    Ordinance increasing alarm fees:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that increases alarm fees.

19.    Ordinance amending Code of EthicsThe City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that amends the City Code of Ethics.

 

20.    Ordinance extending Cable Television Franchise Agreement:  The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance that extends the Cable Television Franchise Agreement with Charter Communications one additional year.

 

21.    Executive sessionThe City Council will conduct an executive session according to Section 551.071 (consultation with attorney and pending or contemplated litigation) and 551.087 (deliberation regarding economic development negotiations) of the Texas Local Government Code.
