3.    Special presentation and reports:  The City Manager will present the preliminary 2003-2004 fiscal year budget.

5.    Minutes:  The City Council will consider the minutes of the June 17, 2003 special workshop and regular meeting.

 

6.    Ordinance extending cable television franchise agreement: The City Council will consider an ordinance that extends the cable television franchise agreement with Charter Communications one additional year.

7.    Resolution waiving thoroughfare requirement:  The City Council will consider a resolution waiving a thoroughfare element requirement (construction of principal collector parallel to U.S. Highway 181 between Broadway Boulevard and NorthShore Boulevard) and directing the amendment of the Comprehensive Plan.

 

8.    Purchase of mower: The City Council will consider the purchase of a mower for the General Services Department (park maintenance) through the Houston-Galveston Area Council Cooperative Purchasing Program.

 

9.    Request for agenda item: The City Council will consider request for an agenda item to discuss fees and charges being established by the City Manager.
