5.    Minutes: The City Council will consider the minutes of the November 5, 2002 special workshop and regular City Council meeting.

 

6.    Public hearing concerning drilling permit application:   The City Council will conduct a public hearing to solicit comments from citizens and other interested persons concerning an application for a drilling permit filed by Royal Production Company (the drill site would be located approximately 325 feet north of the intersection of Buddy Ganem Drive and Memorial Parkway).

 

7.    Application for drilling permit: The City Council will consider an application for a drilling permit filed by Royal Production Company (the drill site would be located approximately 325 feet north of the intersection of Buddy Ganem Drive and Memorial Parkway

 

8.    Ratification of corporation decisions:   The City Council will consider the ratification of decisions made by the Portland Community Center Complex Development Corporation.

 

9.    Resolution authorizing publication of notice:   Consideration and approval of resolution by the City Council of the City of Portland, Texas, authorizing and approving publication of notice of intention to issue certificates of obligation; complying with the requirements contained in Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 15C2-12; and providing an effective date.

 

10.    Resolution authorizing interlocal agreement with corporation:  Consideration and approval of a resolution by the City Council of the City of Portland, Texas, authorizing an interlocal agreement between the Portland Community Center Complex Development Corporation and the City of Portland, Texas; and other matters in connection therewith.

 

11.        Ordinance redefining mission of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board:  The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that redefines the mission of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

 

12.        Ordinance abolishing Animal Control Advisory Board:   The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance that abolishes the Animal Control Advisory Board.

 

13.        Official maintenance map:   The City Council will consider adopting a map that designates the parks, grounds and rights-of-way that will be regularly maintained (cut, cleaned and repaired) by the city.

 

14.        Position upgrade and reclassification:  The City Council will consider a position upgrade and reclassification (Community Center Representative to Marketing Coordinator) within the recreation department.
