5. Minutes: The City Council will consider the minutes of the June 19, 2001 regular council meeting.
6. Public hearing: The City Council will conduct a public hearing to solicit comments from citizens and other interested parties concerning a request for a special use permit (business records storage and climate controlled storage facility) at 1605 U.S. Highway 181 South (part of Lot 5, Block 3, Oak Ridge Subdivision Unit 7).
7. Zoning request: The City Council will consider a request for a special use permit (business records storage and climate controlled storage facility) at 1605 U.S. Highway 181 South (part of Lot 5, Block 3, Oak Ridge Subdivision Unit 7).
8. Public hearing: The City Council will conduct a public hearing to solicit comments from citizens and other interested parties concerning the establishment of ad valorem tax abatement policy (guidelines and criteria).
9. Ordinance establishing ad valorem tax abatement policy: The City Council will consider the first reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance #956 and establishing ad valorem tax abatement policy (guidelines and criteria).
10. Appointment to Planning and Zoning Commission: The City Council will consider the appointment of Mike Carter to the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Eric Burnett.
11. Resolution authorizing aggregated purchase of electricity. The City Council will consider a resolution authorizing membership in the South Texas Aggregation Project, Inc.
12. Selection of park name: The City Council will consider naming dedicated park land at the intersection of Wildcat Drive and Second Street.
13. Ordinance authorizing waiver of fees: The City Council will consider the second and final reading of an ordinance authorizing a waiver of building permit and utility tap fees within the Old Town Mixed Use Zoning District (OT-2) under specific conditions.
14. Executive session: The City Council will conduct an executive session according to Section ยง551.072 of the Local Government Code to discuss the acquisition of utility easements between U.S. Highway 181 and the NorthShore Country Club.
The City Council may formally act on this agenda item in public at the conclusion of the executive session.
