5. Minutes: The city council will consider the minutes of the June 5, 2001 workshop and regular council meeting.
6. Fire Station No. 1 Name: The city council will consider a request from the Portland Volunteer Fire Department to name Fire Station #1 the James L. Bishop Fire Station.
7. Sanitary sewer investigation: The city council will consider engaging the engineering firm of Smith, Russo & Mercer to conduct a sanitary sewer investigation in the Briar Bluff subdivision.
8. Resolution initiating ad valorem tax abatement process: The city council will consider a resolution initiating the process to abate Ad Valorem taxes within the Old Town mixed use zoning district (OT-2) under specific conditions.
9. Ordinance authorizing waiver of fees: The city council will consider the first reading of an ordinance authorizing a waiver of building permit and utility tap fees within the Old Town mixed use zoning district (OT-2) under specific conditions.
