 The mission of the Portland Fire Department is to provide a range of services dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Portland from the effects of fire, sudden medical emergencies, and the exposure of dangerous conditions created by either man or nature. Exceed customer expectations while providing professional emergency services, fire code enforcement and public education programs. Implement operational procedures that not only inspire employees to perform at the highest levels, but also support their performance through education, training and a professional working environment. | ||
