MISSION
The mission of the public library is to enthusiastically serve the entire community.
This mission shall be accomplished by:

PROGRAMS
- Literacy Program - Laubach and ESL classes offered cooperatively with the San Patricio County Adult Literacy Council.
- Storytime - During the school year, storytime is offered every Thursday at 9 AM & 10AM free of charge to preschool age children.
- Summer Reading Program - Offered during the summer months to encourage children preschool through 12th grade to retain their reading skills.

SERVICES
- Fax - Fee $1.00 a page to send or receive a fax.
- Interlibrary Loan - Free service provided to patrons requesting a title not in the collection. The book will be obtained from a lending library in the system.
- New Card - First card issued free of charge with proof of residency. Replacement Card fee $1.00.
- Print Impaired Services - Talking Book Program, audio and large print books available.
- Public Computers - 8 public access computers available to patrons.
- Test Proctor - Available by appointment.
TexShare Database -Provided by Texas State Library, The Friends of the Library and your local library to patrons with a current library card. Contact the library for password.

DONATIONS AND MEMORIALS
- Book Donations - Well maintained materials accepted year round. Items not placed in the collection will be used for the Friends Book Sales.
