Kidz Klub & Kidz Dayz

Kidz Klub

During the school year, the City of Portlandand the Gregory-Portland ISD co-sponsor Kidz Klub, an afterschool programfor kids from kindergarten through 5th grade. The program is offered atthree G-PISD elementary school campuses: East Cliff, T.M. Clark, and W.C.Andrews. (Stephen F. Austin students attend the program at W.C. Andrews;transportation is provided.) There is a $60 registration fee. Monthly tuitionis $95.  

Hours are from the end of school until 6:00p.m. Hours are extended toaccommodate early dismissal days. The program is offered on most teachertraining days but is not available on most major holidays. All Kidz Klub staffare certified in CPR, first aid, and safety. Instructors also have earlychildcare training. This program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and ProtectiveServices.   

Kidz Klub activities include qualityrecreational games that enhance a child's leisure skills in a safe, familiarenvironment. Fees include an afternoon snack.   

Online registration is available or sign up at the Portland Community Center (2000 Billy G. Webb Drive). The registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration. 

Kidz Dayz

Kidz Dayz is an all-day recreation program offered during school holidays and teacher in-service days. This program is not provided on city holidays. Kidz Dayz is held at T.M. Clark Elementary, located at 2250 Memorial Parkway. Map

The program is open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Activities include arts and crafts, organized recreational play, games, and prizes and lots of other fun. A morning and afternoon snack is provided. Children must provide their own lunch. 

Kidz Dayz hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm. Cost is $20 per day. Thereis an early bird rate of $15 for those who register and pay at least two weeksin advance.
