Two officers are assigned as School Resource Officers (SROs) assigned to the Gregory-Portland Independent School District (GPISD) school campuses throughout the regular school year. These officers have completed and continue to attend various school resource officer training courses. They strive to provide a safe environment on our school campuses along with building a better relationship and rapport with our youth. Our SROs have gone beyond that of being a police officer on campus by becoming involved with various school events and volunteering to help with many of these events.
